2007 Naylor's Dry Hole, Cabernet Sauvignon

  • Tasting Notes
  • Aptly named for Duncan Naylor’s extensive search for well water, the “Dry Hole” vineyard sits dramatically in a high valley at 1,800 feet elevation in the Chalone Appellation’s Gabilan Mountains. Known more for the famous Pinot’s from this part of the mountains, there is a perfect micro-climate for Cabernet at the very edge of the high valley. Annual yield rarely exceed 1.5 tons.

La Honda has the exclusive rights to 100% of the Naylor’s Dry Hole Cab. Like previous vintages, this wine is polished, refined, and luxurious without being ponderous or fussy.
