2010 Sequence, Pinot Noir
- Tasting Notes
- The 2010 vintage was a nearly perfect one for Pinot Noir in the Santa Cruz Mountains. After drought conditions during the winter with rainfall 40% below normal, spring began early and mild. Dry weather throughout spring allowed for a peaceful berry set. Summer was dry and warm, but without any sudden heat spikes. The crop was moderate to slightly below normal in size. High concentration and dry extract, but not overripe, and with sugar levels that generated moderate alcohol levels.
